I woke up sweating. Memories of what happened with Suzy flooded my mind, haunting me. I will never forget what she did. It was 12:00 in the morning. I still had time to sleep but I couldn’t. ‘Suzy’ my head would not stop whispering that name over and over like a broken tape recorder.

After school, I came upstairs and locked myself in my room. I wanted to be alone. Away from everyone. Away from everything. I liked keeping my thoughts to myself; all secrets and everything personal. Not until I had poured my heart out to Suzy one day thinking she was going to keep everything to herself. Why did I think that? I never trusted anyone, especially not my parents. That was the stupidest thing I had done. It was too late to undo what had been done. Suzy was a little miserable worm who didn’t deserve to live. I hate her. I hate her. I hate her. Suddenly I got a vision of what happened on that horrible day.

Casually, I walked down the hall going to meet Suzy, when suddenly everyone started looking at me strangely and I heard them whispering. It made me uneasy. I immediately looked up and down, making sure everything was fine. That’s when Trisha (the mean and popular girl in our school) and her sidekicks came sashaying up to me. “Hey there missy how’s your day been?” drawled Trisha, grinning mischievously. The scent of her overpowering perfume made me want to gag.
